This variation on our classic net adds the ability to attach a common sampling bucket to a 3.5" cod end of the net. Choose from the options at the bottom of the page, our sample buckets are a two piece un-screwable design with mesh to match your net.  The net adapter is included in the price when a bucket is chosen,  the adapter is attached to the end of the net with a stainless steel clamp that does not need to be removed in the field.  If you choose a bucket, you can also add accessories mounted to the end of your sampling bucket (at bottom of page). We currently offer a petcock or a weight attached to the bottom of the sample bucket, unfortunately only one of these can be added as they use the same mounting point at the bottom of the sample bucket.

D-Frame Nets are designed for use in streams.  The extremely sturdy design features a 3/8" 316 Stainless Steel frame attached to a 1.25" reinforced PVC handle (choose handle option at bottom of page).  This durability adds stability to the net when used in a current. The mouth and bottom panels are made of heavy weight canvas and the leading bottom edge has a polyester lip for extra wearability.

Note:  Not all D-Frame Dip Nets are made the same.  Our nets use real 316 Stainless Steel frames and heavy duty handles. These nets are based on the classic model, designed for years of service with replaceable nets.   Don't settle for lesser quality materials at a higher price, you get what you pay for!

Note:  Nitex® mesh is used where available and appropriate.  We reserve the right to use other branded mesh where aperture size or availability requires.  Nitex® is a brand name of heat set mesh with tight tolerances and is specifically name in protocols because it was the first such product.  If any modern substitution is used, it will be of matching quality and specifications.  Aperture sizes of any brand, including Nitex®, are accurate to within a 10% variation.
