This inexpensive, compact and lightweight sampler is EPA recommended and listed in "Standard Methods.". Suspend it, float it or attach it to submerged objects such as boulders or stakes. Leave it in place for 2 or more weeks, then scrape the sample off the plates for analysis. Constructed of 1/8” (3 mm) thick tempered masonite for longer field life, with nylon spacers and SS hardware. Includes wingnut for quick disassembly.

Note: Not all Hester Dendy Samplers are made equal.  The protocol masonite is the rare dual smooth sided tempered variety originally used.  Material with one rough side is not appropriate.  Additionally, our samplers use real stainless hardware; test with a magnet, and don't get "stuck" trying to disassemble your sampler.
